Debating is all about providing convincing arguments on a bunch of different topics. At the end of a debate, you generally have a broader perspective of the issue at hand. DebSoc or the Debate Society of LitSoc aims at helping its members with the entire process involved in tackling a debate. The discussions that we have also help one gain attributes like critical thinking, sound reasoning, effective researching, etc. 

 

The team of people who are a part of DebSoc ensures that there is no fear of judgment when one is voicing their opinion regarding any topic. This will, in turn, help its members overcome the fear of not being able to communicate their thoughts succinctly
