If you were blind,
and if you’d be thinking in your mind,
“What would the colours be like?
Since I couldn’t see them with my two eyes alike.”
I’d tell you,
All you see is black,
And to be frank,
Dark and beautiful,
Yet very resourceful.
Saffron would be courage,
For you stand tall and enraged,
With all your posture and grace,
Catching upto the world;
Moving at a fast pace.
I’d talk about red differently,
It’s all about intensity,
I’d say positivity;
And a hint of negativity,
Since it’s all about prosperity but also about
enmity.
Then there’s purple,
A royal and majestic hue,
I’d compare it to the way;
People should respect you.
White in its own mystical way,
Leading humanity to the grave,
But you will also find peace with it,
When you’ve slowly withered away.
There’s yellow just like you,
All luscious and happy too,
It shines bright in an everyday sky,
As you make it through the days and nights.
Green for growth,
For every plant is green,
When you’re growing;
Just know green is all you are feeling.
Blue stretching across the oceans,
Even with the tears you shed,
Because all you have to face;
Is darkness for long ahead.
Pink calling you innocent,
As you’ve gotten lucky enough,
To not witness the world’s treachery,
Long enough for an eternity.
I’d also tell you,
How colourful you are,
Because the world’s most magnificent hues,
Couldn’t replace you.
