Space Exploration - The Ultimate Ambition

Space Exploration which earlier used to be the fascination of kids or scientists

has grown to become the fascination for a lot of great people. In recent times we

have seen billionaires take great interest in space research. What could be the

reason for rich people becoming so interested in space with such a high dedication??

Last year we saw the billionaires Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson become astronauts and travel to sub-orbital space on their privately funded trips and Elon Musk is also scheduled to take a trip to space in the near future. What is it that is inspiring them to take trips to space? Is it the privilege of speaking or is there a

farsighted opportunity? Space tourism which has been the talk of the town for quite a while seems a bit contradictory as natural resources being wasted on such a scale for just enjoyment isn't really what we can afford. But on the contrary,

visionary ideas are worth the hard work.

Space Exploration could be a treasure of resources some studies reveal. Blue Origin was founded in 2000 with the goal of people working and living in space for the betterment of life on earth, Which would include moving the industries which affect earth adversely to space and finding resources in space to make life easier and earth better.

Some Other studies also revealed that Earth would not be livable in a few million

years and that Earth would not be able to have more than 11 billion people lead to

further advancement in thinking one of which lead to studies revealing the

possibility of multiplanetary life and Studies also revealed that we are not the

only beings in even our solar system and galaxy let alone other galaxies. We have

Seen Elon Musk heading straight to the goal of making human life possible on Mars. SpaceX which was founded by the billionaire in 2002 has made more than sufficient money in commercial flights for satellites to fund its Mars Program which included reusable rocket boosters, on-orbit refuelling system and a Starship which would make travel to mars possible and afforadble to the common man eventually.

Above listed are just popular examples, other than them there are many state and

private organisations striving to make Space exploration fruitful among which some prominent names are NASA, Roscosmos, ISRO, CNSA etc.

All of the organizations have been keeping the long term vision of saving humanity using space which has also led to some discoveries which came in handy for our present and helped the humanity in the short term. For Example - Artificial limbs, Scratch Resistant Lenses, LASIK, Solar Cells, Wireless headsets, Camera phones, LED's, Insulin Pump. These are the various inventions that were made just for space exploration but today have become an integral part of our lives.

To conclude though the competition in space exploration has been fierce over the

years, It has lead to unity in the world that continues to strive for the betterment of the future and really test the boundaries of the universe and of human curiosity.
