Kintsugi

And it's we who define our flaws,

For all that appears broken

Can be fixed;

Adhering to hope and healing,

Not just an art, but the heart.

It's when your feet stumble

Upon uncertainty;

Or the mind is distraught,

When the weight of your mistakes

Is a heavy load to carry,

Remember the lessons, failures taught.

To respect your efforts

And embrace your faults,

To mend the strength

That was shattered;

And resume the tasks at halt.

So assemble all the fragments

And rejuvenate the mould,

Leaving behind the fissures of fear;

Fill the cracks, with the faith of gold.

(Ref. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum.)
